Facebook’s social media platforms got hacked. Hacking means when someone forcibly and wrongly uses another person’s or companies’ social media account, or email etc and then sends messages from there.
It has happened to Facebook before and it has happened again. Facebook’s Twitter, Instagram and messaging app – Messenger, were hacked and the cybercriminals posted images from both platforms.
The hacking group, called OurMine put a post on Twitter and Instagram accounts that said “even Facebook is hackable”. They said that they wanted to show that accounts can be hacked and that they are not safe. In January this group hijacked over a dozen accounts for teams in the US National Football League.
This is the message:
The accounts have been restores (meaning made alright again) by Facebook.
