Changing Destiny

Changing destiny is all we ever want,
But it always seems like a taunt.
Impossible is what it seems,
No one ever understood what it means…

Composed by Rajlaxmi Singh, a grade 6 student

Changing destiny is all we ever want,
But it always seems like a taunt.
Impossible is what it seems,
No one ever understood what it means.

We can never accomplish this task.
As it is like a mask. It could be done,
But it won’t be fun.

It might get accomplished one day,
That’s what they always say.
Changing our minds,
Or giving up our finds.

The leaves in autumn fall,
Making us feel small.
Is there anything bigger?
It just gets foggier.

Forces fighting,
Or gone nature sighting.
Never the answer,

Life’s a dancer.
Elegance, Graceful, A fistful.
The storm’s coming,
The guitar strings strumming.

Changing destiny is all we ever want,
But it always feels like a taunt.
Impossible is what it seems,
No one ever understood what it means.
