We all know that Coronavirus is causing panic all over the world and India as well. The entire country is on lockdown! But, did you know that a plus side of the virus is that the AQI (Air Quality Index) is almost the best it has ever been? Pollution levels are very low and they have gone from hazardous to satisfactory or in some places even good!

So, how did this happen? And why didn’t it happen before?

So, you probably know that the AQI levels are the worst in Delhi. As the country is on lockdown, there are fewer cars on the street and most factories are shut! This means there is very little smoke from factories and cars. Another contribution to the drop in AQI levels is that in the past few days, we have received a lot of rain. Even though it is only the first few days of the lockdown we have seen a significant drop in AQI levels!                                                                                                            

But, that is not all! We are getting to see a lot of different animals and species of wildlife!

Like Nilgais in Noida! Civet in Kerala! Sambhar Deer in Chandigarh! Etc. Rare animals are being spotted roaming on the streets of popular cities! We are being able to see beautiful creatures that some of us never even knew existed. COVID19 and the lockdown has given the animals a new freedom, and it has shown us all the gorgeous creatures surrounding us.
