While I believe that smoking should be banned everywhere, I am talking specifically about Singapore because that’s where I live
Smoking is not banned in Singapore. But really it’s a bad thing. For those of you out there who like to smoke, I hope this article will encourage you to change your habit.
Singapore government just doesn’t ban smoking because I believe that they are benefitting from it.
This is how it works. People buy the packets, and it generates money. But they care about their people. If you live in Singapore and you’ve seen stray cigarette packs on the ground, you’ve probably noticed the warnings.
Cigarette packets have warnings on them about what smoking can do to you. And, that’s the funny part – they’re selling the packs, but they are also telling you NOT to do it while selling it. A pretty weird way of making money, if you ask me.
Smoking’s pretty unhealthy for your body. It can cause all sorts of things like cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung diseases, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis. And you want to be healthy, right? So, the MAIN point is smoking’s unhealthy and it can cause all sorts of diseases. So, be healthy and don’t smoke!!!
And, a SPECIAL thanks to my dad for telling me all this information.
