Dussehra is celebrated when Rama killed Ravana. Similarly, we should kill coronavirus with some steps. In the same way that Ravana is burnt, we should burn coronavirus out of our way. Here are ten ways to burn the ten heads of Corona Ravana.

  • SOCIAL DISTANCING

When an infected person is talking to someone else, small droplets that contain a virus come out of their mouth/nose. That is how a virus spreads so we must maintain a six-foot distance from each other.

  • WEAR MASKS

Like we maintain social distancing, we should also wear masks. So if you sneeze, the droplets from your mouth will only end up sticking on to your mask. That is why we should wear masks.

  • DON’T GET YOUR HANDS NEAR YOUR FACE

You should not put your hands near your face because if the virus touches your hands, it will not have any effect. But if it gets into your mouth, you will end up catching the virus.

  • DO NOT LITTER MASKS

If an infected person who doesn’t know he/she is infected and litters a mask and any other person picks up the mask, he/she gets the virus.

  • EXERCISE AND STAY FIT

If you eat healthy food and stay fit, you will be able to fight back even if the virus attacks you.

  • PROTECT SENIOR CITIZENS

Maintain a healthy distance from senior citizens. If they catch the disease, they wouldn’t be fit enough to fight it back. And what’s more, they are more prone to coronavirus than us.

  • DISINFECT YOURSELF AND YOUR BELONGINGS

If you don’t disinfect yourself and your belongings, you have more risk of catching the virus. There are many ways to disinfect yourself and the things you own, so I shall tell you one of them. When you come back from outside, you might have touched an infected person or area. So, it is good to be wary and soak your clothes with soap and water and have a bath immediately.

  • WASH YOUR HANDS REGULARLY

When you wash your hands, all the dirt on your skin gets washed away. And if the virus is sticking on to your skin, it also gets washed away with the dirt.

  • STAY AT HOME

We should stay at home because if we get the virus, it will not spread so rapidly as there will be no one at home except our family members. Contact the helpline (+91-11-23978046) and visit the doctor.

  • STAY AWAY FROM HIGH-RISK AREAS. DOWNLOAD AROGYA SETU APP

High-risk areas are places where you are more likely to get a virus. One example of a high-risk area is a supermarket. We shouldn’t go to high-risk areas or to containment zones as there may be infected people in these places. Download the Arogya Setu App so you always know when and how you have to be safe.
