Lights cover my neighborhood streets,
Plates are full of delicious treats
Everybody is decked up in festive wear,
An unadorned house in this season is very rare!

Every home is surrounded by delight
Uncountable diyas are lit up, just this one night!

This Diwali,
Let Goddess Lakshmi bestow
health, wealth, and happiness
with pure and bright hearts,
Let’s welcome dazzling flashiness!!
