First, who is Nikhat Zareen?
She’s from a little place called Nizamabad, in Telangana state.
She has three sisters, but Nikat is said to have been the most mischievous – often getting into fights with kids in the neighbourhood. She loved climbing trees as a child and wanted to get into boxing early on – even as she questioned why women didn’t get into boxing.
Trained with boys..
When she started training, there were no girls in boxing, so she trained with boys.
